This is my great-great-great-grandmother Eliza Jane Maddox born in 1828 in Indiana.  She first married David Patterson, who was from Ireland.  They had three children, including my great-great-grandmother,
Margaret Jane Patterson McGilvry
.  After David died sometime before 1860, she remarried a Scotsman, James Boyes in 1868 and had four more children.  She died in 1905.
This page contains photos from two tintype albums given to us by my great-grandmother, Minnie McGilvry Clay.  This picture is of my great-great-great-great-grandmother, Delilah Butler Maddox, wife of Asa Maddox.  She was born in Kentucky Aug. 22, 1806 and died in Oklahoma Dec. 4, 1893.  The pictures below are of some of her 11 children.

This is Martha Ann Maddox, daughter of Asa & Delilah, and her husband Jim Blankenship.  These are two of my favorite pictures from the albums!  Martha's hair is shorn because she supposedly suffered from migraine headaches.
This picture is labeled Mollie Maddox.  I am not sure if this is Mary Emma Maddox, daughter of Delilah and Asa.
