James Hick's Cherokee Site This is where I found quite a lot of information on my Cherokee Muskrat relatives. This guy has done a lot of work!
Family Tree Maker This is the main site where you can do searches on relatives and post messages on a genealogy forum by surname. Also has lots of how-to articles on genealogy.

Battle of Wilson Creek This guy has put in an amazing amount of work documenting the Civil War Battle of Wilson Creek. My Dad's ancestors, the Sharp's had a farm which became part of the battlefield. Check out Chapter 12 for a description from one of the soldier's who stormed their house. Also, this page shows a map of where their farm was in the battle.

That's Entertainment! Melanie is obsessed with movies and relies on these sites to keep up to date on the latest news and reviews.
Quite simply the best resource for information about movies -- and it has TV info as well! Extensive database searchable by title, actor, director, awards, year, etc. Also has some upcoming films, but not updated as frequently as some other sites. One of my first bookmarks.
Probably my favorite reviewer. I usually agree with him. This site (which is part of the Chicago Sun-times site) has his current print reviews plus a searchable archive of past reviews going back years.
Harry Knowles started this site as a place for film geeks and look where he is now. Cameos in films, guest reviewer on Roger Ebert, and an internet force to be reckoned with. If you want the latest casting rumors on every upcoming sci-fi and fantasy film, news from the film festivals, links to trailers, etc., this is the place for you. One of the film sites I check out most often.
A fairly frequently updated database of upcoming films. Organized both by title and date. So if you want to know what hot movies are slated for this summer, this is a good place to start.
